Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Legasov Bale.
Trainer Ms. T. Womann requested an early race endorsement for King Gristle. The request was approved following an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. King Gristle will compete in early races until further notice.
Legasov Bale was quick to begin.
Aston Ryker and Fernando Cazz collided soon after the start. Arlington checked off Aston Ryker in the front straight. Legasov Bale, Aston Ryker, Fernando Cazz, Kipling and King Gristle collided on the first turn severely checking Kipling and King Gristle which lost ground as a result.
Kipling underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a aceration to the lip and a spike wound to the right hind heels, however no stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Fernando Cazz - the winner of the event.
