In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 27.5 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.1 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

All Staff & Participants attending the race-meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the Kennel Block and Associated Buildings and when engaged in the exclusive race-day functions of handling, boxing, starting & catching greyhounds. 

Lektra Little and Blazing Kansas collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Blazing Kansas. Market Chick and Kraken Tyson collided on the home turn checking Market Chick. Blazing Kansas raced wide in the home straight.

Holly's Delight – New declared weight of 27.5kg, last raced at 29.1kg.

Three Kisses was quick to begin.

Twilight Psycho and Sonic Rainboom collided on the home turn.

Holly's Delight underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a neck injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ramona was quick to begin. Deed Of Shianne was slow to begin.

Farmer's Arms and Blackzin Prince collided soon after the start. Farmer's Arms checked off Mow A Meadow approaching the first turn. Farmer's Arms galloped on the heels of Blackzin Prince approaching the first turn checking Mow A Meadow and Blackzin Prince. Mow A Meadow and Blackzin Prince collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn.

Husky Freckle and She Can Fly were slow to begin.

Jump The Bar and Unreasonable collided approaching the first turn.

Husky Freckle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Safe Drop stumbled soon after the start. Veracruz and Aston Sofia collided approaching the first turn checking Veracruz and severely checking Cash No Credit and Safe Drop. Safe Drop checked off Cash No Credit approaching the home turn. Kalkari and Shimmy Over collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Veracruz raced wide entering the home straight. Level Neville and Shimmy Over collided in the home straight.

Shimmy Over underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right and left hind limbs. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Vantaarling regarding the racing manners of Shimmy Over on the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Vantaarling, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Our Flying Bolt was slow to begin.

Lektra Bear and Stride For Pride collided approaching the first turn. State Of Mine and Crazy Old Fool collided on the first turn checking State Of Mine. Lektra Bear checked off Crazy Old Fool approaching the home turn.

Lektra Swing and All Inn Mia collided soon after the start checking All Inn Mia. Come Home and Lektra Swing collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Come Home checked off Lektra Swing approaching the home turn.

Raw Attitude went up with the lids at box rise. Sky Show and Tay Tay Swifty collided on the first turn checking Tay Tay Swifty and Raw Attitude. Tay Tay Swifty and Raw Attitude collided approaching the home turn. Lilah's Mac and Royal Gossip collided approaching the winning post.
