Steward's Report
Hill Top – Late scratching at 8:18 am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a tail injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
So Very Nice, Manila Fred and Shining Ellie were slow to begin.
Tay Tay Swifty and Zander collided approaching the first turn. Zander and Enzo's Girl collided approaching the home turn, checking Enzo's Girl. Chuck Attack and Manila Fred collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Shining Ellie raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards opened an inquiry with Mr M Giddings regarding his conduct in which was detrimental or prejudicial to the interest, welfare, image, control of greyhound racing which occurred during the boxing of So Very Nice in this event. After hearing evidence from Mr Giddings, the starter and acting on their own observations, a warning was issued to Mr Giddings' regarding his conduct boxing the greyhound.
