A pre-race sample was taken from Cobra Kai.
Cobra Kai, Strike The Pose, Mepunga Val and Expel collided soon after the start. Cobra Kai, Strike The Pose and Expel collided on the first turn checking Cobra Kai and Expel. Weblec Rebel, Mepunga Val and Aston Active collided on the first turn severely checking Aston Active which fell as a result.
Aston Active underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right quadraceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
