Steward's Report
Due to the earlier failure of the track lighting, this race was delayed to start at 10.25pm.
Blackjack Lee was quick to begin.
Walk Me Home and Top Right collided soon after the start. Walk Me Home and Groundbreaking collided on the first turn. Blackjack Lee and Roll Your Eyes collided approaching the home turn checking Blackjack Lee. Walk Me Home raced wide on the home turn.
Zipping Higgins underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr. S. Coulson regarding the racing manners of Zipping Higgins in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Coulson viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
