The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Luigi Bale with kennel representative Mrs Tammy Kennedy - Harris and noted their comments.
A pre-race sample was taken from Arcanine.
Malizia and Jet Burner were slow to begin.
Luigi Bale and Jet Burner collided soon after the start severely checking Luigi Bale. Armstrong Bobby, Charm Offensive and Malizia collided on the first turn checking Charm Offensive and Malizia. Luigi Bale and Malizia collided on the home turn. Armstrong Bobby and Jet Burner collided on the home turn. Luigi Bale checked off Malizia entering the home straight.
Luigi Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
