The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Hurricane Miss was quick to begin.

Hurricane Miss checked off Taciana on the first turn checking Taciana.  Hurricane Miss checked off Jordy's Express on the home turn.  Jordy's Express and Hurricane Miss raced wide in the home straight.  

Casanova Man underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

His Stop It and Mt. View Jester collided soon after the start.  Making Magic and Horace Bale collided on the first turn checking Horace Bale.  His Stop It checked off Horace bale on the home turn.

Mt. View Jester underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain.  A 5 day stand down period ws imposed.

Betty's Dream was quick to begin.

Montaro, Go The Doves and American Spy collided soon after the start.  Kraken Thunder, Fallen Petal and Somerton Osprey collided on the first turn checking Fallen Petal.  Somerton Osprey checked off Kraken Thunder on the home turn.  Reiko Bear marred Go The Doves in the home straight.

Reiko Bear underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Ricky Coleman, the trainer of Reiko Bear regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Reiko Bear was charged with marring. Mr. Coleman pleaded guilty to the charge, Reiko Bear was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2)(a) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Crackerjack Jase – Late scratching at 2.02pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. Peter Borradale was fined $100.

Facing The Music was quick to begin.

Piccolo Fratello faltered on the first turn losing ground and subsequently tailed off.  Big Baccala checked off Mighty Matilda in the home straight.

Darnum Dozer, Geena Bale, Big Papi, Dynamic Ross and Flasy De Goey collided soon after the start.  Darnum Dozer and Hird From Bucks collided approaching the first turn checking Hird From Bucks.  Big Papi, Flashy De Goey and Teardrop collided on the first turn.  Big Papi checked off Teardrop on the home turn.  Hird From Bucks and Spot On Cinta raced wide in the home straight.

Galloping Albi, Blue Cascade and Will It Rain collided approaching the first turn checking Blue Cascade.  Breakaway Benji raced wide approaching the first turn.  Galloping Albi and Will It Rain collided on the first turn checking Galloping Albi.  Galloping Albi, Luxury Art, Up The Amount, Blue Cascade and Folding Stars collided approaching the home turn checking Blue Cascade and Folding Stars.

All Class Fairy underwent a post-race veterinary examination due toan incident in the catching pen.  All Class  Fairy was found to havea right metacarpal fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed

Black Mintie underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen.  Black Mintie was found to have spike wounds to both metacarpals and both front feet.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
