All persons (GRV & club staff, licensed participants & limited general public) attending the venue today undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Blazing Brothers – New declared weight of 32.2kgs, last raced at 30.9kgs.

Snow Onyx, Blazing Brothers and Pocket Titanium were quick to begin. Riverdale Poppy and Lyrical Lad were slow to begin.

Snow Onyx and Blazing Brothers collided on the first turn checking Snow Onyx. Snow Onyx, Pocket Titanium and Lyrical Lad collided on the first turn checking Pocket Titanium and Lyrical Lad. Bluey McGee and Love Us raced wide entering the home straight.

Lonesome Star, Obsession Agogo, Mystic Muse and Night Like This collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Lonesome Star checked off Night Like This on the home turn checking Obsession Agogo.

Mahogany Flame – Late scratching at 3.01pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Kiss Me Kate, Westar Lass and Blazin' Jewel collided on the first turn checking Westar Lass and severly checking Kiss Me Kate.

Kiss Me Kate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Send It Socks checked off Begonia Bale on the first turn. Especial One and Dodgy Digger collided on the first turn. Especial One checked off Begonia Bale approaching the home turn checking Dodgy Digger. Especial One and Dodgy Digger collided on the home turn. Send It Socks and Especial One collided entering the home straight checking Especial One.

Crumb Snags and Cawbourne Cheeky were slow to begin.

Crumb Snags, Insomnia Agogo and Cawbourne Cheeky collided on the first turn checking Crumb Snags. Blazing Fast, Magic Mink and Beanie Eyes collided on the first turn checking Magic Mink and Beanie Eyes causing Insomnia Agogo to fall as a result. Blazing Fast and Draconic Lad collided approaching the home turn. Pronator checked off Draconic Lad on the home turn. Blazing Fast and Draconic Lad collided on the home turn. Crumb Snags and Draconic Lad collided on the home turn checking Draconic Lad. Blazing Fast and Cawbourne Cheeky collided in the home straight. 

Insomnia Agogo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dinner Roll – Late scratching at 2.27pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas pursuant to GAR 37 (4). Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nomination will be accepted.

Colossal Fire and Riverdale Bear collided soon after the start checking Riverdale Bear. Black Tess and Colossal Fire collided approaching the home turn checking Colossal Fire. 

A pre-race sample was taken from One Double Beat.

Bright Blue was quick to begin.

Bright Blue, Wolf Shadow and Idalia Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Bright Blue and Wolf Shadow. One Double Beat and Veritee Bale collided on the home turn causing Veritee Bale to race wide as a result. Idalia Bale and Cat Noir collided on the home turn checking Cat Noir.

The 'All Clear' to this event was delayed to enable Stewards to review the lure run up. After taking evidence from the lure driver and Steward at the start, Stewards established that soon after the lure was automatically set in to motion, the lure momentarily slowed before being controlled manually by the lure driver. As the lure reached the starting point at the required speed and time Stewards declared 'All Clear'

Our Girl Bailee was quick to begin.

Volcanic Lava, Mahogany Storm and Crackerjack Nev collided soon after the start checking Mahogany Storm. Volcanic Lava checked off Flying Farrokh on the first turn checking Doughnut. Gemma Blue and Flying Farrokh raced wide entering the home straight.

Volcanic Lava underwent a post race veterinary examination and was reported to have a left groin injury. A 5 day stand down was applied.
