Steward's Report
The announcement of the All Clear was delayed to allow the Stewards to review the positioning of the lure on the first turn. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were entirely satisfied that while the lure was less than 5 metres ahead of the leading greyhound on the first turn, no greyhounds were materially predjudiced and the All Clear was posted.
Pyrenees Steele was slow to begin.
Gettysburg checked off Kraken Tex on the first turn.
Numinous underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a slow recovery. No stand down period was imposed.
