Steward's Report
Eight Ball - New declared weight of 38.7 kg, last raced at 37.6 kg.
Selynya Teddy and Miss Tenzing were quick to begin.
Eight Ball and Rall's Girl collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Harrell Bale, Demolition and Weblec Eagle collided soon after the start. Demolition checked off Miss Tenzing approaching the second turn. Brady's Shout and Miss Tenzing collided on the second turn severely checking Miss Tenzing which lost considerable ground, Brady's Shout fell as a result. Rall's Girl and Eight Ball collided approaching the home turn checking Rall's Girl which brushed the running rail. Selynya Teddy and Weblec Eagle collided on the home turn. Weblec Eagle, Selynya Teddy and Harrell Bale collided entering the home straight checking Selynya Teddy.
Brady's Shout underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Miss Tenzing underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle, right triangle muscle and an abrasion on the left wrist . A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
