This event was rescheduled to start at 9:32pm.
Zipping Martina and Denise's Vision collided soon after the start checking Denise's Vision. She's A Blazin' and Weetbix Mini collided approaching the first turn. Begonia Bale and Aston Genesis collided approaching the home turn. Bundoran visibly eased and pulled up in the home straight.
Bundoran underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle, left trapezius muscle and right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Bruce Wellington regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Bundoran was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Wellington pleaded guilty to the charge, Bundoran must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
