Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks / covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Lektra Logic, Lilah's Mac and Joffa's Impala were slow to begin. Lektra Logic and Lilah's Mac collided approaching the first turn. Sarah Sailfish, Crackerjack Dirt and Lilah's Mac collided on the first turn checking Sarah Sailfish. Lilah's Mac and Daph's Echo collided approaching the home turn checking Lilah's Mac. Lektra Logic and Joffa's Impala collided approaching the home turn. Joffa's Impala clipped the heels of Lilah's Magic entering the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Got Me Smarty - the winner of the event. 

Crackerjack Ads and Follow The Que collided approaching the first turn. Crackerjack Ads, Follow The Que, White Flower and John John Dory collided on the first checking Follow The Que. Crackerjack Ads, White Flower and John John Dory collided on the home turn checking White Flower, Crackerjack Ads and Follow The Que. 

Prior to the running of this event a section of the track lights went out resulting in all races being delayed by one race. As a result, this event was rescheduled to start at 8.06pm.

A pre race sample was taken from Miss Verity. 

La La Louis and Blow Me Kisses collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Zulu Boy and Blow Me Kisses collided entering the home staright.

A post-race sample was taken from All Ablaze - the winner of the event. 

This event was rescheduled to start at 8:22pm. 

A pre race sample was taken from Stebonheath Lad. 

Deep Dive was quick to begin. Pirate Lee and Shy But Savage collided on the first turn. Stebonheath Lad and Deep Dive collided on the home turn. Berringa Blue and Firefly Star collided on the home turn. Shy But Savage clipped the heels of Stebonheath Lad entering the home straight. Stebonheath Lad lost ground in the home straight.

Stebonheath Lad underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 8. Stebonheath Lad was found to have injuries to the left sartorius and right quadriceps muscles. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

This event was rescheduled to start at 8:45pm.

Aston Cosmo and Mepunga Doyle collided approaching the first turn. Sizzle Fly, Aston Cosmo, Zimmer Bale and Mepunga Doyle collided on the first turn checking Aston Cosmo. Sizzle Fly and Zimmer Bale collided on the home turn. Zimmer Bale and All Over Max collided enteirng the home straight. Aston Cosmo raced wide in the home straight. 

This event was rescheduled to start at 9:10pm. 

Divine Dixie and Rothwell Gal collided on the first turn checking Divine Dixie. Uniquely Mine, Voltage Spike, Guinness Banshee and Gigi's Fire collided on the first turn checking Gigi's Fire and Guinness Banshee. 

This event was rescheduled to start at 9:32pm. 

Zipping Martina and Denise's Vision collided soon after the start checking Denise's Vision. She's A Blazin' and Weetbix Mini collided approaching the first turn. Begonia Bale and Aston Genesis collided approaching the home turn. Bundoran visibly eased and pulled up in the home straight. 

Bundoran underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle, left trapezius muscle and right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Bruce Wellington regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Bundoran was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Wellington pleaded guilty to the charge, Bundoran must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zipping Trent was slow to begin. What Price, No Degree and Razor Burn collided on the first turn checking No Degree. Callister and Sugar Maple collided approaching the second turn. Permit Granted and Callister collided approaching the home turn checking Callister. No Degree, Callister and Razor Burn collided approaching the home turn checking Callister and Razor Burn. 

This event was rescheduled to start at 10:20pm. 

Soda Nigel and Chelsea's Love collided on the first turn. Chelsea's Love, Railway Burra and El Cazador collided approaching the second turn checking El Cazador. Chelsea's Love and Railway Burra collided on the second turn checking Chelsea's Love.

This event was rescheduled to start at 10:37pm.

Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Joking Bear with trainer Mr. G.Hammerstein and noted his comments. 

Crispy Duck and Flying Farrokh were slow to begin. Foreman, Chasing Rex and Joking Bear collided approaching the first turn checking Foreman and Chasing Rex. Crispy Duck, Joking Bear and Chiseller collided on the first turn. Chasing Rex galloped on Foreman approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Flying Farrokh raced wide entering the home straight.

A pre race sample was taken from Open Throttle.

Open Throttle, Digitorum and Una's Boy were slow to begin. Less Ordinary crossed to the rails soon after the start. Open Throttle, Una's Boy and Pranjip Comet collided approaching the first turn. Roger That and Open Throttle collided on the first turn severely checking Roger That and Digitorum; Roget That tailed off as a result. 

Roger That underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

This event was rescheduled to start at 11:13pm.

A pre race sample was taken from Manila Kampyon. 

Amigo Two was quick to begin. Ice Cold Yug faltered in the back straight  and subsequently tailed off. Big Flash Marjen and Lightning Ben collided on the first turn. Manila Kampyon galloped on Nalani approaching the home turn severely checking Manila Kampyon and Big Flash Marjen. 

Ice Cold Yug underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left chest muscle, right traingle muscle and left back muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
