Steward's Report
Rival Wiggy and No Sitting Back were quick to begin.
Twilight Psycho, Hartland Gus, One Point Five and Rival Wiggy collided approaching the first turn checking Hartland Gus and One Point Five. Son Of Peter faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result. Hartland Gus and Rival Wiggy collided on the home turn checking Rival Wiggy. One Point Five and Pat May Joy collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. One Point Five and Pat May Joy collided in the home straight.
Son Of Peter underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing to the left hind paw and a right triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Jye Formosa, the representative of Son Of Peter and acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards ordered Mr. Formosa to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Son Of Peter in the event which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
