More Wit galloped on Reap The Rewards soon after the start checking Flying Zara, More Wit and Reap The Rewards. Piparae and Baz The Rocket collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Baz The Rocket contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Wolfie's Swagger and Over Talking collided on the home turn. Wolfie's Swagger, Over Talking and It's A Tiger collided entering the home straight.
Baz The Rocket underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder and left thigh injuries. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
