Zipping Kay was a late scratching at 8.28pm. Stewards spoke to trainer Peter Grice and informed him that he would be excluded from the race meeting in accordance with GAR 20(3)(n) and that Zipping Kay would be withdrawn from the meeting under GAR 20(4)(b) due to his failure to comply with reasonable COVID-19 measures and instructions, implemented by GRV.
Crystal Kiss was quick to begin.
Boolavogue and Megasonic collided approaching the first turn. Boolavogue, Megasonic and Banjo Plato collided on the first turn checking Boolavogue and Megasonic. Boolavogue raced wide in the home straight.
