Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operation upon arrival at the course.

Stewards spoke to Ms Kellie Leviston, the representative for Kuta Cowboy regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. After viewing all available race footage and acting on live observations, no further action was taken.

Super Shenron - Late scratching at 5.45pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Greg Doyle was fined $100.

Zambora Tara was slow to begin.

Braeside and Bomber's Queen collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Tee Tee.  American Spy and Go Nera collided approaching the home turn.  Bomber's Queen and Tee Tee collided on the home turn, entering the home straight and again in the home straight.  

Tee Tee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and an abrasion to the right foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr James Atkinson and after viewing all available race footage and taking into account Mr Atkinson's submissions, issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.

Mr Guy Bartlett was issued with a warning regarding his use of a mobile phone in the kennelling area in accordance with GAR 44.

Stewards spoke to trainer Peter Grice and informed him that he would be excluded from the race meeting in accordance with GAR 20(3)(n) and that Buddy Blinx would be withdrawn from the meeting under GAR 20(4)(b) due to his failure to comply with reasonable COVID-19 measures and instructions, implemented by GRV.

Midnight Storm, Dream Gem and Small Rose were quick to begin.
