Crazy Old Fool checked off Benchester soon after the start. All Inn Christy, Aston Valkyrie, Fast Fever, Oriental Jade and Benchester collided approaching the first turn checking Fast Fever and Oriental Jade. Aston Valkyrie and Benchester collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Oriental Jade galloped on Fast Fever on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Crazy Old Fool and Benchester collided on the home turn.
Crazy Old Fool underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have shin sorness to the right hind leg and a left carpal sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
