Why Not Kez was quick to begin. Break The Plate was slow to begin.

Jugungal Black and Lady Elegance collided soon after the start. Mighty Matilda and Lady Elegance collided approaching the home turn. Raglan Revolver and Mighty Matilda collided on the home turn.

Jugungal Black underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right back muscle and the right triangle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Michael Carlstrom was issued with a warning after the greyhound Jugungal Black was negligently (GAR 86(o)) placed in the incorrect box.
