Lunar Edition was quick to begin. Boes High Five, Golden Secrets and Dinkydi Barney were slow to begin.
Boes High Five and Golden Secrets collided soon after the start. His Stop It and Sticker Sparkles collided soon after the start. Boes High Five contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Golden Secret contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground checking Boes High Five. Lunar Edition checked off My Golden Eagle on the first turn.
