Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Big Bash Army was slow to begin.

Veritee Bale, Big Bash Army and Big Bash Jonesy collided soon after the start checking Big Bash Army. Call Me Tiger, Magic Indeed and Tibetan collided soon after the start. Call Me Tiger crossed to the outside at the 250m mark checking Magic Indeed, Uncatchable Girl and Bavarian Pride. Magic Indeed crossed out at the 150m mark checking Bavarian Pride which lost ground. Uncatchable Girl, Tibetan and Big Bash Jonesy collided approaching the winning post.

Shared Colour crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with the Dynamite Des several times, checking Shared Colour and Jax Flash and severely checking Dynamite Des and Sweet Chanelle. Shared Colour and Jax Flash collided several times from the 200m mark to the 100m mark checking both greyhounds. Shared Colour and Jax Flash collided at the 50m mark and again approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds, Shared Colour stumbled as a result.

Sweet Chanelle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg pencil/whip muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Patriot Lincoln was slow to begin.

Patriot Lincoln and Speedy Blue collided at the 300m mark checking both greyhounds. Murt Law checked off Jose Blue approaching the 200m mark. Patriot Lincoln checked off Speedy Blue at the 200m mark. Speedy Blue checked off Mania at the 100m mark.

Smoking Syd and Aston Samurai collided soon after the start. Sedona and All Inn Billy collided soon after the start. Raquea's Dream crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Smoking Syd. Ton Eighty, Smoking Syd and Aston Samurai collided at the 300m mark. Sedona and All Inn Billy collided at the 250m mark. Trubelle and All Inn Billy collided approaching the 100m mark. Smoking Syd and Aston Samurai collided at the 100m mark. Trubelle and Sedona collided at the 50m mark. Trubelle checked off All Inn Billy approaching the winning post.

Miss Firebird and Crown Ella collided approaching the 200m mark checking Miss Firebird and Headwall. Miss Firebird and Headwall collided approaching the 150m mark. 

Speckie Mckean checked off Manila Kampyon soon after the start. Speckie Mckean crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark. Speckie Mckean and Secret Package collided at the 150m mark and again approaching the 50m mark.

Silver Sky crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Dark Arrow, Honey Bourbon and Cee Jay Ace. Cee Jay Ace and Honey Bourbon collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark. Honey Bourbon checked off Dark Arrow at the 200m mark.

Reggae Mikado  - Late scratching at 10:28am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right front toe injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Making Gravy – New declared weight of 35.4kgs, last raced at 34.3kgs.

Smart As Jack and Golden Years collided soon after the start. Brady's Shout checked off Smart As Jack soon after the start and crossed to the outside. Buck The Jockey checked off Noonbarra Jack approaching the 150m mark. Golden Years and Noonbarra Jack collided at the 150m mark.

Clark Road and He's An Ace collided soon after the start. He's An Ace and Time To Talk collided at the 250m mark. Aston Rum, Sole Elusion and All Inn Redman collided at the 200m mark checking all three greyhounds. Clark Road and All Inn Redman collided at the 100m mark. Time To Talk faltered at the 100m mark and lost ground as a result. 

Time To Talk underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg calf muscle injury and a left hindleg hip injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Lektra Elsa crossed to the outside at the 250m mark. Cyclone Zara crossed to the rail at the 200m mark checking Kireina, Kilpatrick and Ear We Come. Kireina and Cyclone Zara collided approaching the 50m mark.

All eight greyhounds collided soon after the start checking Greysynd Spectre, Aston Champagne, Eagle Jet, Baby Talk, Nitro Roxy and Aston Guinness. Greysynd Spectre, Aston Champagne and Eagle Jet collided several times from the 250m mark to the 200m mark checking Aston Champagne and Eagle Jet.
