All eight greyhounds collided soon after the start checking Greysynd Spectre, Aston Champagne, Eagle Jet, Baby Talk, Nitro Roxy and Aston Guinness. Greysynd Spectre, Aston Champagne and Eagle Jet collided several times from the 250m mark to the 200m mark checking Aston Champagne and Eagle Jet. Baby Talk checked off Nitro Roxy approaching the 50m mark.
