All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Nova's Way was quick to begin.  Separatist, Orson Reiko, Reiko Langer and Reiko Oreo were slow to begin.

Orson Reiko checked off Reiko Barty soon after the start.  Orson Reiko and Reiko Langer collided approaching the first turn; checking both greyhounds, which raced wide as a result.  Reiko Oreo eased approaching the first turn and again approaching the winning post; and subsequently tailed off.

Reiko Oreo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race six.  Reiko Oreo was found to have a right hindleg triangle injury.  A five day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Ms Deborah Coleman regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn and again approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Reiko Oreo was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Coleman pleaded guilty to the charge, Reiko Oreo was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shucks and Lizzie's Glory were quick to begin.  Reiko Bingle was slow to begin.

Shucks and Gutter Stomper collided soon after the start.  Bella Reiko and Reiko Shock collided soon after the start.  Reiko Bingle and Reiko Haze collided approaching the first turn; checking Reiko Haze.  Reiko Haze contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Shucks and Lizzie's Glory collided on the first turn; checking both greyhounds.  Shucks turned its head out in the home straight and approaching the winning post.

Shucks underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hindleg metatarsal.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Benjamin George, the trainer of Shucks regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight and approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Shucks was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr George pleaded guilty to the charge, Shucks was found guilty and suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Reiko Haze underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hindleg stifle.  No stand down period was imposed.

Highway Man and Zipping Jazz collided approaching the first turn, checking Highway Man.  Lucy's Villa and Blackest Black collided approaching the first turn.  Lucy's Villa and Highway Man collided on the second turn.  Blackest Black and Retro Rocket collided in the back straight.  Retro Rocket and Zipping Jazz collided on the third turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Blackest Black - the winner of the event.

Family Trust was quick to begin.

Zipping Utah and Mussa Jack collided soon after the start; checking Zipping Utah and Darnum Blaze.  Piece Of Heaven and Mussa Jack collided approaching the first turn, checking Piece Of Heaven.  Piece Of Heaven and Zipping Utah collided in the back straight and again approaching the third turn.

Bus Driver and Stebonheath Lad collided soon after the start, checking Bus Driver.  Why Not Gigi and On Time Cash collided approaching the first turn, checking Why Not Gigi.  Bean's Multi galloped on Locked And Ready on the home turn; checking Bean's Multi and On Time Cash; causing Why Not Gigi to race wide in the home straight.

Layback Cruiser, Zander and Soda Pee Wee collided soon after the start, checking Soda Pee Wee.  Nine Wine Wine and Zander collided approaching the first turn, checking Zander.  Tan Star and Layback Cruiser collided on the first turn, checking Tan Star.

Tinker Count was very slow to begin (3L).

Don't Get Lippy crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Accused.  Romeo Lad checked off Don't Get Lippy on the first turn; causing Romeo Lad to race wide.  Accused and Sunnyside Pride raced wide in the back straight and in the home straight.

Aston Hebe and Phil's My Bro collided approaching the first turn, checking Phil's My Bro.  Aston Sabelle galloped on Jaxson Mino approaching the first turn; checking both greyhounds.  Callum's Capers raced wide in the home straight.

Come On Levendi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hindleg foot.  A three day stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Shake The World on Thursday, 17 June 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Why Not Kez, Bell Park Dragon, Lemonade Kid and Irongate collided several times from soon after the start to approaching the first turn.  Irongate and Whizbang Alice collided on the first turn, checking Irongate.  Shake The World clipped the heels of Lemonade Kid on the first turn and collided with Bell Park Dragon; severely checking Shake The World, Bell Park Dragon and Irongate; causing Shake The World to fall.  Why Not Kez raced wide in the home straight.

Shake The World underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have concussion and an abrasion to the right hindleg.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Esther Bale, Let's Roll and Migration collided approaching the first turn; checking all three greyhounds.  Princess America and Gee Dalton collided on the home turn.  Talk Talk Talk and Let's Roll raced wide in the home straight.
