All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting, and catching greyhounds. 

Rival Wiggly was slow to begin.

Midoriyama and Sky And Thunder collided on the first turn causing Sky And Thunder to check off Bark Healy. Tai Pan Agogo, Sky And Thunder and Bark Healy collided on the second turn. Bark Healy checked off Tai Pan Agogo approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke with Mr Darrell Leathan, the trainer of Rival Wiggly regarding the greyhounds performance. Mr Leathan stated the catcher reported to him that the greyhounds muzzle had been caught in its mouth and believed this to be a major contributing factor to its poor performance. Mr Leathan added that he planned on nominating the greyhound at his local provincial tracks for future events. Stewards noted Mr Leathan's explanation. Rival Wiggly underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Snow Angel and Weblec Cruiser were quick to begin.

Nine Nine, Tears No More and Above The Limit collided soon after the start checking Above The Limit. Above The Limit and Farmer's Arms collided on the first turn checking Farmer's Arms. Nine Nine, Weblec Cruiser and Above The Limit collided on the first turn checking Weblec Cruiser and Above The Limit severely checking Nine Nine. Weblec Cruiser and Farmer's Arms collided on the third turn severely checking Farmer's Arms which faltered, lost ground and took no further part in the event. 

Farmer's Arms underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Diesel Riot and Nana Judy were quick to begin.

Diesel Riot and Nana Judy collided soon after the start. Nana Judy, Trending Rookie, Cousin's Ace, Zippy Volkswagon, Fernando Bella and Gracie Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Nana Judy and Zippy Volkswagon severely checking Trending Rookie, Fernando Bella and Gracie Bale. Cousin's Ace and Zippy Volkswagon collided on the home turn. Cousin's Ace and Gracie Bale collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Cousin's Ace marred Zippy Volkswagon entering the home straight checking Cousin's Ace, Zippy Volkswagon and Gypsy Urana.

Stewards spoke to Mr Brett Nye, the trainer of Cousin's Ace regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Cousin's Ace was charged with marring. Mr Nye pleaded guilty to the charge, Cousin's Ace was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted. Cousin's Ace underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Inga Leo was quick to begin.

Carla Veloso and Madam Maximus collided soon after the start. Carla Veloso, Madam Maximus and Way To Important collided on the first turn checking Madam Maximus and Way To Important. Way To Important checked off Carla Veloso approaching the third turn.

An out of competition sample was taken from Artic Assassin on 17/06/21 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Aston Roxy raced wide on the first turn. Fernandes and Craggy Island collided on the second turn checking Fernandes.

East Street was quick to begin.

Dark Compass, Resse's Girl, Lawful Man, Mania and Two Phones collided in the front straight checking Dark Compass, Resse's Girl and Lawful Man severely checking Mania. Resse's Girl and Lawful Man collided on the first turn checking Lawful Man. East Street and Two Phones collided on the first turn checking East Street. Dark Compass checked off East Street approaching the second turn and collided with Two Phones checking Two Phones. Lawful Man checked off Two Phones entering the back straight. Resse's Girl and Two Phones collided on the third turn checking Resse's Girl.

My Girl Kizzy and Zipping Zarbo collided several times from soon after the start to the first turn checking My Girl Kizzy, Zipping Zarbo and Paint Peeler. My Girl Kizzy clipped the heels of Javi on the first turn checking Javi. Zipping Zarbo raced wide entering the back straight.

Zipping Zarbo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right thigh, right triangle muscle and right shoulder. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
