Heidi’s Gift was slow to begin. Miss Mikado galloped on Mechanics Kismet on the first turn. Make You Famous, Winlock At Large and Norwegian Wood collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds, Make You Famous brushed the running rail as a result. Mechanics Kismet was checked off Make You Famous approaching the home turn. Miss Mikado, Mechanics Kismet and Make You Famous collided on the home turn checking Mechanics Kismet and Make You Famous.
Make You Famous underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right deltoid muscle and left hamstring. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr. S. Spence failed to appear by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Winlock At Large for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46(2).
There was no head on vision of the back straight for this event.
