Alans Pick underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left chest muscle and right triangle muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Healey, the representative for Alan‘s Pick regarding the greyhound’s performance on the first turn.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Alan’s Pick must perform a satisfactory trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Thylacine underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 7. Thylacine was found to have an injured toe on the right front foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
