Steward's Report
Winslet Bale was quick to begin. Miss Belle and Marla Penny were slow to begin.
Inka Bale and Bel Air Storm collided soon after the start. Inka Bale galloped on the heels on Winslet Bale approaching the first turn checking Lala Hibiscus causing Winslet Bale to race wide and lose ground as a result. Bel Air Storm, Wild Aces Agogo, Marla Penny and Lala Hibiscus collided on the first turn. Bel Air Storm and Inka Bale collided approaching the home turn. Inka Bale checked off Bel Air Storm on the home turn. Lala Hibiscus checked off Inka Bale on the home turn. Lala Hibiscus checked off Inka Bale entering the home straight.
Winslet Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to both hocks. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
