State The Facts underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 8.  State The Facts was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to the trainer Ms. Cheryle Ragen regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1) State The Facts was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Ragen pleaded  not guilty to the charge, State The Facts was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69b (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future  nomination will be accepted.

Glamourous Lass was quick to begin.  Aston Pirate was slow to begin.  Perfect Colour, Massimo and Vin Joel collided approaching the first turn checking Massimo and Vin Joel; Vin Joel stumbled as a result.  Aston Pirate and Massimo collided approaching the first turn checking Massimo.  Aston Pirate and Vin Joel collided on the first turn.  Harper's Girl and Dr. Lynch collided on the home turn.  Glamorous Lass raced wide on the home turn.

Perfect Colour underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
