All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds

All Ford was quick to begin.  Captain Warrior was slow to begin.  Dundee Buzz was checked off Dr. Francisco approaching the first turn checking Captain Warrior, Dr. Grady fell as a result.

Dr. Grady underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race sample was taken from Barwidgi.

Retro Rocket and Dr. Macie collided soon after the start checking Dr. Macie.  Barwidgi galloped on Retro Rocket on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Retro Rocket was checked off Barwidgi on the first turn.

Ms. J. Gill was issued with a warning regarding the use of a mobile phone in the kennelling area in accordance with GAR 44.

A pre-race sample was taken from Coalville Chief.

Coalville Chief and Tarlee collided approaching the first turn. Gypsy Tenille galloped on Grand Mac on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Coalville Chief and Grand Mac collided on the home turn.  Dr. Xander and Manila Sunrise collided on the home turn.  Gypsy Tenille was checked off Grand Mac entering the home straight.  Tralee and Grand Mac collided in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dorellie Love.

Mac’s A Million was quick to begin.  Dundee Topaz and Dorellie Love were slow to begin.  Mac’s A Million and Zheng collided entering the back straight.  Kuta Cowboy and Alita collided entering the back straight checking Dorellie Love.  Kuta Cowboy visibly eased and turned its head out entering the back straight and collided with Alita.  Alita and Zheng collided on the third turn.  Alita was checked off Zheng approaching the home turn severely checking Kuta Cowboy and Alita.  Zheng and Alita collided approaching the winning post.

Kuta Cowboy underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6.  Kuta Cowboy was found to have an injured left pencil muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. C. Leviston regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the back straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Kuta Cowboy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Leviston pleaded guilty to the charge, Kuta Cowboy was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post race sample was taken from Mac’s A Million - winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Nella Ruslie.

Jenny Kay Rose and Addie Attitude were slow to begin.  Two Phones was checked off Nella Ruslie on the first turn.  Jenny Kay Rose and Addie Attitude collided on the first turn.  Gerry’s Lara and Nella Ruslie collided on the first turn checking Gerry’s Lara.  Two Phones galloped on Luxury Art on the home turn.  Gerry’s Lara and Jenny Kay Rose collided entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Shinjuku.

Who Knows Roman and Shinjuku collided soon after the start checking Shinjuku.  Who Knows Roman and Aston Frigate collided approaching the first turn.  Bomber’s Wonder and Who Knows Roman collided on the first turn checking Bomber’s Wonder.  Dr. Luna was checked off Aston Frigate on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Avenger Spolly.

Alarm Response, Captain Cruiser and Thirty Red collided approaching the first turn checking Alarm Response and Captain Cruiser.  Alarm Response clipped the heels of Layback Cruiser on the first turn checking Captain Cruiser and severely checking Alarm Response.  Layback Cruiser tired in the home straight

A pre-race sample was taken from Inuka.

Go Emmy Go and Maxwell were slow to begin.  Burning Mountain, Matilda Hook and Suspense Rules collided on the first turn checking Burning Mountain, Matilda Hook, Suspense Rules and Inuka.  Burning Mountain galloped on Inuka on the first turn severely checking Burning Mountain. Maxwell was checked off Inuka on the home turn.  Suspense Rules was checked off Maxwell on the home turn. Maxwell and Inuka collided approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was taken from Miss Somerton.

Ando’s Milley was slow to begin.  Don’t Get Lippy was checked off Zachary soon after the start checking Don’t Get Lippy and Miss Somerton.  Miss Somerton galloped on Aston Balade approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Milly‘s Last was checked off Ando’s Milley on the first turn severely checking Milly’s Last.  Aston Balade clipped the heels of Milly’s Last approaching the home turn.

A post race sample was taken from Clan McMillan.

Katey Penny and Gypsy Hook collided on the first turn checking Gypsy Hook.  Gypsy Hook and California Blond collided on the first turn.  Gypsy Hook was checked off California Blond on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Kenji.

Finlaystone galloped on Blockette approaching the first turn checking Finlaystone and American Spy, severely checking Blockette which lost considerable ground.  Oscar The Scout was checked off Karen’s Word on the first turn.  Finlaystone and Oscar The Scout collided several times approaching the home turn.  Finlaystone galloped on Oscar The Scout approaching the home turn.  Finlaystone, Oscar The Scout and American Spy collided on the home turn.  Blockette tailed off.

Blockette underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left monkey muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
