All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Left On Read, Brock’s Baileys and Two Pars were quick to begin.  Old Dodge, Big City Nights and San Martino were slow to begin.  San Martino crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Big City Nights.  Queen Of Boss was checked off Left On Read on the first turn.  Left On Read, Brock’s Baileys and Two Pars collided on the first turn severely checking Left On Read and Brock’s Baileys.  Old Dodge and San Martino collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds, Old Dodge faltered and lost ground as a result.  Left On Read and Big City Nights collided entering the home straight.

Old Dodge underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right wrist and right shoulder muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Ken’s Crew was quick to begin.  Hurricane Miami was slow to begin.  Recapture Time and Betty Spolly collided soon after the start checking Recapture Time, Betty Spolly, Armstrong Bobby and Liberty Royal.  Liberty Royal and Armstrong Bobby collided approaching the first turn.  Armstrong Bobby and Recapture Time collided on the first turn checking Armstrong Bobby, Recapture Time, Liberty Royal and Hurricane Miami.

Pretty Mouse was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Mersey Marval and Beach Master collided soon after the start.  Nitro Antwon and Mayhem Thrill collided approaching the first turn. Beach Master was checked off Star Hawk on the first turn.  Star Hawk was checked off Mayhem Thrill entering the home straight. Fab Rocket raced wide in the home straight.

Full Recovery was slow to begin.  Combust was checked off Jordy’s Express approaching the first turn.  Nathan Ryder was checked off Klopp on the first turn.  Jordy’s Express and Klopp collided on the first turn checking Jordy’s Express, Klopp and Full Recovery.  Combust contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Combust, Full Recovery and Klopp collided approaching the home turn.  Ring A Ranger and Turbulence collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Harper’s Girl and Yazid Bale were quick to begin.  Ha Ha Magoo was slow to begin.  Rock The Sky and Louranda collided soon after the start.  Floats Alone and Yazid Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Rock The Sky, Louranda and Yazid Bale collided on the first turn checking Louranda, Yazid Bale and Yussuf Bale.  Louranda and Yazid Bale collided entering the home straight. Rock The Sky and Floats Alone collided in the home straight.  Yussuf Bale and Leo’s My Champ collided in the home straight.

Throw Caution was quick to begin.  Stirling Lights and Patricia Maureen collided on the first turn severely checking Stirling Lights and Bad Guy, causing Why Not Colby to fall and Bad Guy to falter and pull up.

Bad Guy underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right back muscle.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Livvy's Princess – Late scratching at 8:55am when Ms J. Selleck reported the greyhound to have a injured fibula (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Baggy’s Gold with trainer Ms G. Saunders and noted their comments. 

Why Not Gigi was quick to begin.  Smooth Talker was slow to begin.  Riddles and Calabrese Gino collided on the first turn.

Baggy’s Gold underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Rumour File was slow to begin.  Rumour File and Memphis Keeping collided soon after the start. Done Time and Flywheel Bella collided approaching the first turn.  Memphis Keeping and Busy Time collided on the first turn.

Hazardous Rumour underwent a post race veterinary examination after falling entering the catching pen and no apparent injury was reported.

Kanga Lights was quick to begin.  Amazing Roy was slow to begin.  Zipping Whoopi crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Jane Way.  Irwin Bale and Amazing Roy collided on the first turn. Jane Way raced wide in the home straight.  Amazing Roy was checked off Irwin Bale approaching the winning post.

Prime Time, Bearing Gold and Willow Ash were slow to begin.  Nowhere Nathe and Hurricane Keely collided soon after the start.  Parabellum and Perfect Colour collided approaching the first turn checking Parabellum.  Parabellum and Nowhere Nathe collided on the first turn.  Bearing Gold raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Hurricane Red underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured lumbo-sacral,  left back muscle and a laceration on the left hind leg.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
