Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Mt. View Emma.
Kroos and Wears Woodleigh were slow to begin. Wears Woodleigh faltered approaching the first turn. Locked And Ready clipped the heels of Aston Rosa on the first turn. My Gem crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Aston Rosa. Kroos and Mt. View Emma collided on the first turn. Locked And Ready and Aston Rosa collided entering the home straight.
Wears Woodleigh underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left back muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
There was no head-on vision available in the back straight for this event.
