Galaxy Queen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg groin injury. and a cervic - thoracic injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Bound By and Bright Blue collided soon after the start. Jump Into Action and Eric Garfield collided soon after the start. Bush Martini checked off Jump Into Action approaching the first turn. Jump Into Action, Eric Garfield and Frainy's Well collided on the first turn checking Frainy's Well. Jump Into Action and Bound By collided approaching the home turn. Bound By and Eric Garfield collided on the home turn. Eric Garfield checked off Jump Into Action in the home straight.

Frainy's Well underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg sesamoid injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Cyclone Zara, Nitro Roxy, Dim Sim  and Charlie Checker collided approaching the first turn checking Cyclone Zara, Nitro Roxy and Dim Sim. Dim Sim checked off Nitro Roxy approaching the home turn.

The placings for this event were inadvertently cleared from the semaphore board due to an operational error at the starting boxes which deactivated the semaphore board prior to "all clear" being sounded. This matter was subsequently rectified and 'all clear' was given on the Judge's placings of 8-2-7-1.
