Louie Too Good underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to show symptoms of cramp in the catching pen.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Wally Hook underwent a post-race veterinary examination.  No apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Galea, the trainer of Wally Hook regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Wally Hook was charged with marring.  Mr. Galea pleaded guilty to the charge, Wally Hook was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Samuel Bye regarding the racing manners of Flywheel Cracker in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Bye, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.

Sorell was slow to begin.  Little Boy Blue and Meg Rose collided approaching the first turn. Yeah Send It and Kiwi Billy collided on the first turn. Yeah Send It checked off Riverbank Smokey on the first turn.  Mustang Molly galloped on Yeah Send It approaching the home turn.  Little Boy Blue crossed out entering the home straight and collided with Dr. Francisco.  Mustang Molly checked off Yeah Send It entering the home straight.  Little Boy Blue, Dr. Francisco and Sorell raced wide in the home straight.

Armstrong Bobby and Bindi Girl collided soon after the start.  Armstrong Bobby and Geena Bale collided on the first turn checking Geena Bale.  Bindi Girl, Armstrong Bobby and Coalville Chief collided entering the back straight checking Armstrong Bobby and Coalville Chief.  Rip Off Roslyn and Bindi Girl collided in the back straight checking Bindi Girl.

Dr. Lynch was quick to begin.  Freddie Cruiser and Call Me Harvey collided approaching the first turn causing Call  Me Harvey to brush the running rail.  Aston Rocket galloped on Dr. Lynch on the first turn checking Massimo and Too Be Sure severely checking Dr. Lynch and Aston Rocket.  Call Me Harvey and Too Be Sure collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Massimo crossed out on the home turn and checked off Dr. Lynch.

His Stop It was slow to begin.  Fraser Hook and Diama Miss collided approaching the first turn.  Lump Sum and Diama Miss collided on the first turn checking Diama Miss.

American Spy - Late scratching at 16:53 on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left monkey muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mandalorian and Born A Runner collided soon after the start.  Airly Spence brushed the running rail in the back straight.  Leo Rose crossed to the rail on the second turn checking Mandalorian and Airly Spence.

Bomber's Smokey was quick to begin.  Two Pars brushed the running rail approaching the home turn.

Flash Spolly was slow to begin.  Captain Cruiser and Dr. Danika collided approaching the first turn.  Shaded Disguise checked off Sad But True on the first turn.  Captain Cruiser and Dale From Sale collided on the first turn.

Shaded Disguise underwent a post-race veterinary examination.  No apparent injury was reported.
