Rebel Riot was slow to begin.
Aston Rhone and Rebel Riot collided soon after the start. Drako Bale and Sweet Coconut collided soon after the start. Aston Rhone and Mepunga Allie collided in the front straight. Mepunga Allie, Christmas Magic and Drako Bale collided approaching the first turn. Aston Rhone, Rebel Riot, Christmas Magic and Drako Bale collided on the first turn severely checking Aston Rhone, Rebel Riot and Drako Bale, causing Christmas Magic to fall and Aston Rhone to lose considerable ground. Military Girl checked off Savrance Bale approaching the third turn. Military Girl and Drako Bale collided approaching the home turn. Military Girl and Rebel Riot collided on the home turn. Savrance Bale and Sweet Coconut collided several times in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Jake Loverso regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Loverso, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
