Savrance Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Jake Loverso regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr Loverso, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Peaky Pub – Late scratching at 5.53pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a cut to the right fore pad. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Tybalt Bale, Rose's Honey, Run Machine and Ozark Bale collided soon after the start checking Run Machine.  Clever Trevor brushed the running rail on the first turn and again on the third turn. Tybalt Bale and Ozark Bale collided several times from the second turn to entering the back straight checking both greyhounds. Clever Trevor tired over the concluding stages.

Clever Trevor underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Tybalt Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Namida and Aston Adonis were slow to begin.

Winlock Thor crossed in soon after the start checking Javier Bale.  Winlock Thor and Namida collided approaching the first turn.  Bahati Bale, Javier Bale, Winlock Thor and Angel Glow collided on the first turn checking Javier Bale.  Destini Catalina, Bahati Bale and Angel Glow collided in the back straight.  Namida checked off Aston Adonis in the back straight.  Gypsy Zelda and Angel Glow collided on the third turn checking Bahati Bale.  Javier Bale and Bahati Bale collided approaching the home turn.  Gypsy Zelda checked off Destini Catalina approaching the home turn.  Gypsy Zelda and Aston Adonis collided approaching the winning post.

Zipping Ticket was quick to begin.

Christo Bale, Cool Bourbski, Mepunga Maggie and Shima Glow collided soon after the start checking all four greyhounds. 

Zing On was slow to begin.

Kutcher's Ruslie, Run And Carry and Eureka Icon collided approaching the first turn checking Run And Carry and Eureka Icon.  Nice And Easy faltered approaching the first turn. That's Easy, Run And Carry, Zing On, Nice And Easy and Aston Anita collided on the first turn checking Run And Carry, Zing On, Nice And Easy and Aston Anita.  Andy Time and Kutcher's Ruslie collided entering the home straight.  Nice And Easy faltered in the home straight. That's Easy visibly eased and turned its head inwards approaching the winning post. 

That's Easy underwent a post-race veterinary examination was re-examined following race 8 and was found to have a right tarsal sprain, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Jason Portelli regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), That's Easy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Portelli pleaded guilty to the charge,That's Easy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Nice And Easy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Champagne and Showtime Boomer collided soon after the start.  Mosaic Charm and Well Grounded collided soon after the start.  Flying Lantern and Mosaic Charm collided on the first turn checking Flying Lantern.  Showtime Boomer and Javi collided on the first turn.  Well Grounded and Aston Champagne collided on the first turn.  Party Lights checked off Vice Grip on the third turn.  

Flying Lantern underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Showtime Boomer underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a laceration to the left front toe.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Carry On Liam and Chart Topper collided on the first turn.  Carry On Liam and Zipping Hamish collided on the first turn and again on the second turn severely checking Zipping Hamish which fell.
