A pre-race sample was taken from Fairytale Poppy.
Terka Wye was quick to begin.
Trending Wave and Terka Wye collided soon after the start. Iceni Hunter and Runing For Juddy collided soon after the start. All Inn Toffee checked off Limburg Special approaching the first turn. Terka Wye and Trending Wave collided approaching the home turn causing Terka Wye to fall checking Iceni Hunter. Runing For Juddy checked off Trending Wave on the home turn. Iceni Hunter raced wide on the home turn.
Terka Wye underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left latissimus dorsi/trapezius injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards was noted that the muzzle of Terka Wye became dislodged during the running of the event.
