A pre-race sample was taken from Princess Lace.
Seabrook Stack and Magnet Force collided soon after the start checking On Time Cash. Seabrook Stack and Magnet Force collided approaching the first turn. Razor Red and Magnet Force collided approaching the home turn. Magnet Force checked off Princess Lace approaching the home turn. Seabrook Stack and On Time Cash collided on the home turn. Cruising Ruby galloped on the heels of Natural Cruiser entering the home straight. Razor Red clipped the heels of Magnet Force entering the home straight checking Magnet Force. Natural Cruiser and Strada collided in the home straight.
Natural Cruiser underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury and a spike wound to the hind leg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Andrighetto regarding the racing manners of Natural Cruiser in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Andrighetto, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
