Steward's Report

Dalisha Bale was slow to begin.

Aston Roxy, Mahogany Queen, Sylvie Bale and Ant Man collided approaching the first turn checking Mahogany Queen and Sylvie Bale. Aston Roxy galloped on the heels of Ant Man on the first turn checking Ant Man. Ant Man checked off Sylvie Bale approaching the home turn. Dalisha Bale veered out on the home turn, turned it's head outwards and collided with Zipping Malibu. Zipping Malibu and Dalisha Bale collided several times approaching the winning post.

A post-race sample was taken from Blazing Nenna - the winner of the event.

Dalisha Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have Thumps. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S Coulson, the handler of Dalisha Bale regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Dalisha Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge, Dalisha Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
