Steward's Report
All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the Kennel Block and Associated Buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 21 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.4 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

Lady Zeeva was slow to begin and collided with Wake Up Dusty soon after the start. Wake Up Dusty and Lady Jenny collided approaching the 250m mark. Lady Zeeva checked off Unique Faith at the 250m mark. Lady Jenny and Magical Maz collided at the 250m mark checking Lady Jenny which lost ground. Hot Diesel and Sprite's Back collided at the 150m mark. Lady Jenny checked off Lady Zeeva at the 150m mark. Hot Diesel and Sprite's Back at the 100m mark.
Lady Jenny underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left deltoid muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
