Steward's Report
My Dad Baz and Crackerjack Baz were slow to begin.
Crackerjack Baz and Edge Serena collided soon after the start. Jackpot shifted out approaching the 250m mark. Jackpot veered out at the 200m mark severely checking Karen's Word and Call Me Bluey subsequently marring Lembor. Jackpot veered out at the 100m mark and marred Lembor who stumbled as a result. My Dad Baz, Karen's Word and Call Me Bluey collided at the 100m mark. Crackerjack Baz and Edge Serena collided at the 50m mark.
Jackpot underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Billy McRae, the representative of Jackpot regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the 250m mark and again at the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Jackpot was charged with marring. Mr McRae pleaded guilty to the charge, Jackpot was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at All Tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Lembor underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Call Me Bluey - the winner of the event.
