All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the Kennel Block and Associated Buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 21 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.4 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

Lady Zeeva was slow to begin and collided with Wake Up Dusty soon after the start. Wake Up Dusty and Lady Jenny collided approaching the 250m mark. Lady Zeeva checked off Unique Faith at the 250m mark. Lady Jenny and Magical Maz collided at the 250m mark checking Lady Jenny which lost ground. Lady Jenny underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left deltoid muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Oakvale Cruiser was slow to begin.

Jimmy Goes Bang and Shady Talks collided soon after the start. Invictus Sybil, Mid Life Crisis and Aston Rum collided soon after the start. Mighty Tracey, Big Boy Paddy, Nitro Roxy and Rollo Wagnar collided at the 250m mark checking Rollo Wagnar. Cal's Girl, Lightning Blue and Heidi collided at the 200m mark checking Heidi and Tyson's Tiger. Mighty Tracey checked off Rollo Wagnar approaching the 50m mark. My Dad Baz and Crackerjack Baz were slow to begin.

Crackerjack Baz and Edge Serena collided soon after the start. Jackpot shifted out approaching the 250m mark. Jackpot veered out at the 200m mark severely checking Karen's Word and Call Me Bluey subsequently marring Lembor. Jackpot veered out at the 100m mark and marred Lembor who stumbled as a result. My Dad Baz, Karen's Word and Call Me Bluey collided at the 100m mark. Crackerjack Baz and Edge Serena collided at the 50m mark.

Jackpot underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Billy McRae, the representative of Jackpot regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the 250m mark and again at the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Jackpot was charged with marring. Mr McRae pleaded guilty to the charge, Jackpot was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at All Tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lembor underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Alfie Mikado, Leeky Lee and Kismet Storm collided soon after the start. Especial Empire and Eilish collided approaching the 300m mark and again approaching the 250m mark. Shared Colour and Meehan Marlow collided soon after the start. Alarm Response and Citadel Of Chaos collided soon after the start. This Event was delayed approximately 2 minutes due to a domestic dog entering the course from an adjacent oval.

Noonbarra Jack was slow to begin.

Suspense underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the calf on the right hind leg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
