All staff & participants attending the race-meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings and when engaged in the exclusive race-day functions of handling, boxing, starting & catching greyhounds. 

Marco was quick to begin.  Going Alright was slow to begin.  Swift Spolly and Going Alright collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Marco was checked off Liberty Royal on the first turn checking Swift Spolly and Going Alright and severely checking Marco and Dr. Wade. Meg Rose and Liberty Royal collided on the first turn.  Swift Spolly raced wide in the home straight.

Extra Hot Emily was quick to begin.  Kiwi Billy was slow to begin.  Lucky Storm and Kiwi Billy collided soon after the start.  Freddie Cruiser and Dr. Perry collided approaching the first turn.  Don’t Cry Wolf was checked off Freddie Cruiser on the first turn.  Don’t Cry Wolf and Dr. Perry collided on the first turn.  Charm Offensive and Extra Hot Emily collided on the first turn checking Kiwi Billy and Lucky Storm and severely checking Charm Offensive, Extra Hot Emily, Don’t Cry Wolf And Dr. Perry, Extra Hot Emily and Don’t Cry Wolf fell as a result, Charm Offensive subsequently pulled up.

Charm Offensive underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6.  Charm Offensive was found to have an injured left monkey muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Extra Hot Emily underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured left scapula.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Don’t Cry Wolf underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a bruised right wrist.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Sunshine Spolly was checked off Slick Paws approaching the first turn.  Slick Paws and Miss Demonica collided on the first turn causing Miss Demonica to brush the running rail checking both greyhounds.  Roulette and Take A Sunflower collided entering the home straight.

Fernando Bull and Wee Gem were quick to begin.  Madalia Brodie was slow to begin.  American Spy and Sweet About Lily collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking American Spy.  Finlaystone and Wee Gem collided on the first turn.  Wee Gem and Madalia Brodie collided on the first turn.  Sweet About Lily And Finlaystone collided entering the home straight.

Fernando Bull underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured toe and split webbing on the right hind foot.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Duke Of Airly was quick to begin.  Flash Spolly was slow to begin.  West Of Westeros and Spolly James collided on the first turn checking Spolly James.  Duke Of Airly and Spolly James collided on the first turn checking Duke Of Airly.

Aston Frigate was quick to begin.  Aston Sylvie was slow to begin.  Formidable and California Blond collided approaching the first turn.  Imperial Jack was checked off Aston Frigate on the first turn. He’s A Minstrel was slow to begin.  Suspense Rules and Eilish collided on the first turn.  Suspense Rules was checked off Aston Clurey on the first turn.  He’s A Minstrel was checked off Eilish on the first turn.

Disco Riot and Marshall’s King collided on the first turn checking Marshall’s King and Brave Traveller.  She Wiggles was checked off Got Girl entering the back straight checking She Wiggles, Marshall’s King and Brave Traveller.  Disco Riot was checked off Got Girl in the back straight.  Marshall’s King and She Wiggles collided on the third turn.  Disco Riot and Lockwood Lad collided entering the home straight.

Texas Metal underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left hind leg.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Shell Star Keats upon arrival at the course.

Wired - late scratching at 11.04am when Mr. J. Nibbs reported the greyhound to have been vomiting (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ms. W Fasoli the handler was issued with a warning under GAR 86 (o) for negligence after the greyhound, Dr. Topaz was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.

Club official, Mr. G Brown was issued with a warning after the greyhound, Dr. Topaz was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kenneling process. This matter was referred to the club manager for futher consideration and remediation.

Dr. Topaz was quick to begin.  Jillissa And Diamond Lady collided approaching the first turn.  Dr. Topaz and Jillissa collided on the first turn checking Jillissa. Madalia Pixie was checked off Jillissa on the first turn.  Dr. Topaz and Jillissa collided approaching the home turn.

Foxami Raptor - Cramp - field of 4, 440 metres, weight 32.3kg, box 1, placed second, time run 25.58 secs. Cleared all tracks.

Scorching Sun - Failed to chase due to injury - field of 4, 440 metres, weight 30.2kg, box 8, placed first, time run 25.51 secs.  Cleared all tracks.

Totally Balanced - Marring - field of 4, 440 metres, weight 32.0kg, box 3, placed fourth, time run 26.37 secs. Comment - greyhound checked on the first turn and approaching the home turn. Cleared all tracks.

Totally Balanced underwent a post trial examination and no apparent injury was reported.
