All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Jerry Buzzard crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Blazin' Cool. Meehan Doozie and Boes Bambino collided approaching the 250m mark checking Blazin' Cool. Blazin' Cool and Meehan Doozie collided at the 200m mark. Blazin' Cool and Raw Attitude collided at the 100m mark and again approaching the 50m mark. Blazin' Cool, Raw Attitude and Meehan Doozie collided approaching the winning post.

Mr Kevin Tirchett failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Jerry Buzzard for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Boes Bambino underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have superficial spike wounds to the left front and right hind toes. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Victor Gay regarding the racing manners of Boes Bambino approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr Gay, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Goofey Express was slow to begin.

Awakened Dragon crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Ishmy Neecy and Draconic Lad. Goofey Express and Sharpedo collided approaching the 250m mark. Ishmy Neecy and Structure collided at the 250m mark. Ishmy Neecy checked off Structure approaching the 200m mark. Goofey Express, Ishmy Neecy and Sharpedo collided at the 150m mark checking Ishmy Neecy and Sharpedo. Stella Diamond, Awakened Dragon and Draconic Lad collided approaching the winning post.

Line Stepper was slow to begin. 

Tralee Riot checked off Jilly Be Brave soon after the start. Barunga Bullet and Blackzin Prince collided approaching the 200m mark. Grumpy Al and Barunga Bullet collided at the 200m mark. Blackzin Prince and Jilly Be Brave collided at the 100m mark. Blackzin Prince checked off Barunga Bullet approaching the 50m mark.

Barunga Bullet - Was ordered to wear an anti-aggression muzzle in all future events in accordance with GAR 71A.
