Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Indy's Happy, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Lonesome Yoda was slow to begin and lost ground. Into The River and Hello Lovely collided soon after the start. Into The River, Audacious Flame, Hello Lovely and Marco collided on the first turn checking Marco and Hello Lovely. Lonesome Yoda faltered on the first turn. Hello Lovely checked off Marco approaching the home turn.
Marco underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Lonesome Yoda underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4. Lonesome Yoda was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. K. Fogarty, the trainer of Lonesome Yoda regarding it's performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Lonesome Yoda must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
