A pre-race sample was taken from Invictus Jaxson.
Assassinate was quick to begin. Shrek’s Storm was slow to begin. Shrek’s Storm, About Bob and Yussuf Bale raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. About Bob and Yussuf Bale collided several times in the home straight.
Yussuf Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left chest muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Harris regarding the racing manners of Yussuf Bale. After hearing evidence from Mr. Harris, viewing all available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
