All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated building and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Notoriety was quick to begin.  Nathan Ryder and Defensible collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds. 

Mussa Jack and Dundee Flame were slow to begin.  Dundee Astra and Gypsy Tenille collided approaching the first turn.  Dundee Astra, Mussa Jack and Gypsy Tenille collided on the first turn checking Dundee Astra and Mussa Jack.  Armstrong Bobby galloped on Percy’s Princess on the first turn checking Armstrong Bobby.  Got Him Yes crossed out on the home turn severely checking Dundee Flame and Armstrong Bobby.  Dundee Astra and Dundee Flame collided in the home straight.

Elswyk Storm and Jezza Bence were quick to begin.  Sleek Mistress, Pay The Prince and Esfahan collided approaching the first turn.  Pay The Prince, Esfahan, El Fernanda and Dundee Candy collided on the first turn checking Pay The Prince, Esfahan and Dundee Candy.  Dundee Candy clipped the heels of El Fernanda on the first turn.  Sleek Mistress and Pay The Prince collided approaching the home turn.  Aston Phoenix crossed out on the home turn and marred Elswyk Storm severely checking Elswyk Storm.  

Elswyk Storm underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left triangle muscle and a spike wound on a left hind toe.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Phoenix underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the right hock.  A 10 day standdownperiod was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Cortese the representative of Aston Phoenix regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Aston Phoenix was charged with marring.  Mr. Cortese pleaded guilty to the charge.  Aston Phoenix was found guilty and suspended for 3 months all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any further nomination will be accepted.

Parumbia Barcia and Why Not Pockets collided approaching the first turn.  Why Not Pockets and Oh Suzie collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Oh Suzie and Baz The Rocket collided in the home straight.

Assassinate was quick to begin.  Shrek’s Storm was slow to begin.  Shrek’s Storm, About Bob and Yussuf Bale raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  About Bob and Yussuf Bale collided several times in the home straight.

Yussuf Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left chest muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Harris regarding the racing manners of Yussuf Bale.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Harris, viewing all available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Why Not Gigi was quick to begin.  Gotham Princess, Parzival and Dinkydi Asset collided approaching the first turn.  Dinkydi Asset was checked off Gotham Princess on the first turn.  Parzival and Gotham Princess collided on the first turn checking Parzival.  Ancho Poblano and American Spy collided on the first turn.  Gotham Princess and Parzival collided on the home turn.  Blockette and Ancho Poblano collided entering the home straight.

Baggy’s Gold was slow to begin.  Zipping Django and Top Faith collided soon after the start checking Top Faith.  Top Faith and Locked In collided soon after the start.  Hello George and Why Not Gazza collided soon after the start and again on the first turn.  Baggy’s Gold raced wide in the home straight.

Annie Rose and Leo Rose were slow to begin.  Mr. Neo was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Annie Rose clipped the heels of William Rose approaching the first turn.  Baby Pechey and Matilda Hook collided on the first turn checking Baby Pechey, Matilda Hook, William Rose and Annie Rose.

Captain Turbot was slow to begin.  Light On Tackle and Armani Arby collided soon after the start. Irwin Bale crossed in soon after the start checking Luxury Art.  Bearing Gold was checked off Irwin Bale approaching the first turn checking Luxury Art.  Cosmic Roy was checked off Captain Turbot on the first turn.  Captain Turbot galloped on Irwin Bale on the first turn.  Cosmic Roy and Bearing Gold collided approaching the home turn.  Armani Arby and Captain Turbot collided approaching the winning post.

Deedee’s Charm was slow to begin.  Even Keats was checked off Howdy Slim approaching the first turn. Howdy Slim was checked off Star Hawk approaching the first turn checking Ando’s Milley. Aston Balade, Even Keats and Deedee’s Charm collided on the first turn.  Ando’s Milley and Deedee’s Charm collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Howdy Slim and Even Keats collided entering the home straight.  Ando’s Milley and Deedee’s Charm raced wide in the home straight.
