Steward's Report
The start of this event was declared a false start due to the lids failing to open. The start was aborted and all greyhounds were removed from the boxes and inspected by the veterinary surgeon in accordance with GAR 56(6). All greyhounds were deemed fit to start and the event was hand started.
Smokey Renn was quick to begin.
Cocco Nova galloped on Smokey Renn approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Walk Me Home raced wide on the home turn.
Coco Nova underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
