Steward's Report
Mulga Bill and Moriah Bale collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Nova Star checked off Drako Bale on the first turn. Mulga Bill checked off Lala Eucalyptus approaching the home turn. Mulga Bill and Nova Star raced wide on the home turn.
Lala Eucalyptus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right monkey muscle and right pectoral muscle injuries. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler, Mr G Dailly, regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Lala Eucalyptus was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr G Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Lala Eucalyptus was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
