Steward's Report
All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated building and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.
The start of this event was delayed by 2 minutes due to a harness race.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Daph's Desi, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Roxy Patron, Agnet Bale, Savrance Bale and Incendio collided soon after the start, checking Agnet Bale and Savrance Bale. Daph's Extreme, Roxy Patron and Incendio collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Hone Your Skills, Agnet Bale and Savrance Bale collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Hone Your Skills, Agnet Bale and Savrance Bale collided entering the home straight, severely checking all three greyhounds.
A post-race sample was taken from Tybalt Bale - the winner of the event.
Agnet Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid and shoulder injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
