Track curator Mr T. Godfrey advised that the track was deep harrowed on Monday January 11. 

All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds. 

Golden Skyrocket crossed out soon after the start checking White Assassin.  Ivy Isobel and Reality Lad collided soon after the start checking Ivy Isobel.  Ivy Isobel, Reality Lad and White Assassin collided approaching the first turn checking White Assassin.  Dr. Macie and Aston Lavinia collided on the first turn.  Aston Lavinia checked off Dr. Macie entering the back straight.  Dr. Macie and Rose's Honey collided in the back straight.  Ivy Isobel and White Assassin collided approaching the third turn checking White Assassin.  Rose's Honey turned its head inwards in the home straight and collided with Golden Skyrocket.  

Rose's Honey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6, no apparent injury could be detected.  Stewards spoke to Ms. Carolyn Jones, the trainer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Rose's Honey was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Ms. Jones pleaded guilty to the charge, Rose's Honey was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2)(a) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

She's So Amazing and Mepunga Warrior were quick to begin.

Low Blow and Weblec Rebel collided soon after the start checking Weblec Rebel.  Bodine and Aston Rabanne collided soon after the start checking Bodine.  Mepunga Warrior crossed out approaching the first turn checking Bodine and Aston Rabanne.  Low Blow checked off She's So Amazing approaching the first turn checking Bull's Roar and Bodine.  Low Blow and Mepunga Warrior collided approaching the first turn checking Low Blow.  Mepunga Warrior and Aston Rabanne collided approaching the second turn checking Mepunga Warrior, Aston Rabanne and Bodine.  Low Blow and Mepunga Warrior collided entering the home straight.  

Bodine underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn nail on the left hind.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Hugo was quick to begin.  Pure Quality was slow to begin.

Carry On Angel and Pop Rock collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Soda Girl and Konta collided on the first turn checking Soda Girl, Konta and Desiree Devere, causing Desiree Devere to race wide.  Soda Girl and Pure Quality collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds, causing Pure Quality to brush the running rail.

Wild Card, Rilynn Bale and Fortuna Bale were quick to begin.

It's My Party, Keefe and Ellias Bale collided soon after the start checking Keefe and Ellias Bale.  Aston Kipchoge and It's My Party collided on the first turn checking Aston Kipchoge and severely checking Weblec Haze, causing Weblec Haze to fall.  Ellias Bale checked off Aston Kipchoge on the home turn.
