Tarranginnie and Buzz Out were slow to begin. Chasing Honey and Moraine Izzy collided soon after the start, checking Moraine Izzy. Chasing Honey galloped on Rockstar Ohlmus approaching the first turn; checking both greyhounds. Miss Malfunction and Rockstar Ohlmus collided on the first turn; checking Miss Malfunction, Tarranginnie and Moraine Izzy. Rockstar Ohlmus and Chasing Honey collided on the first turn; checking Chasing Honey and Buzz Out. Tarranginnie checked off Miss Malfunction on the home turn. Miss Malfunction and Chasing Honey collided on the home turn, checking Chasing Honey. Moraine Izzy and Tarranginnie collided entering the home straight.
